Addiction

Addiction

Two factors, I am going to speak here about addiction. One would be on video games and the other would be about community networks.

This blog is intended to clarify few aspects which I thought could be helpful for many to get out of addiction.

As many know that the addiction to video games started in Western countries initially. Now it is spreading across India as a rapid fire. It brings in a lot of entertainment and excitement to everyone who uses it. No one can deny that. It is good as long as you could have a control over it. Games like Age of the Empires, Caesar, NFS and few more have been very dominant among them. These games consume a lot of time to complete and inculcate a hunger to play more.

Let us move on to community networks. These are absolutely fantastic things to keep in touch with the friends circle and to entertain ourselves. But again we get to see lot of people get addicted to it day and night. At times chatting with friends unnecessarily, scrapping for friends photos, playing games and so on. All these come in because of boredom. When you don’t have anything to do, you start off with it. The end is unknown.

I would never say that you don’t play these games or use community networks. Play them with having control over it. Otherwise it is an addiction, a disease too. Better be aware of it now. Many realize this fact quickly. But for some, it takes a long time to understand and come out of it. This could affect their life in a big way. So, friends have a self control over this wild spreading disease. If it is not looked upon at the right time, this could even turn into a syndrome.

The best way to come out of addiction is to have more and more of it. This applies only to those who are addicted to it. Play it again and again until you get frustrated with it. That’s the best way to keep away from it. Secondly, you can reduce it on a gradual manner. Take up whichever is the best suite for you.

Let’s be free from addiction!!!

Idiotic effect

The day which changed my mindset a bit, infact for plently of guys I hope. It was the day when I watched the movie "3 Idiots".

Many guys were insisting me to watch the movie without fail. Alike most of the tamilians, I too don't know much of Hindi. But still I went on to watch the movie as others did. I had a plan that only three of the guys from my room should watch the movie, so as to resemble the movie title. I was accompanied by my friends cum room mates namely Kamalesh and Jerome.

With lot of expectations, we three went in to watch the movie. It moved along so nicely and we too went into our beautiful college days, which no one could ever forget. Though we don't understand the language much, still we managed to get it through from the body language.

At one stage of the movie, the dialogues were a bit difficult to understand. Everyone around us were burst into laughter listening to the jokes. But we three were helpless. We guys were looking at each others face, really like "3 Idiots". Bearing all these, we still went on with it.

The movie was well supported by songs, music, fun and added with a creative artistic excellence. The best of the movie which I thought was the delivery of the baby with the help of a vacuum cleaner. Such an awesome creative thinking. Both the director and the actors have added a gem to their crown.

"3 Idiots" brings about three aspects in life. It speaks about creativity, Positivity and Friendship. Really an eye-opener for the society as well. Hope this film would improve the educational system in India and the way our parents think.

It was really worthy to watch such a fantastic movie. It has brought us even more closer than we were before as friends.

History has been made!!!
